I am Maddie Crisp, a published journalist and experienced leader specializing in beauty, fashion, and popular culture. I am a recent summa cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a B.A. in Fashion Media and Journalism. During my time at SMU, I honed my leadership skills through various positions, most notably as Editor-in-Chief of SMU Look Media, the student-produced lifestyle magazine and digital brand. In this role, I managed a diverse team, coordinated content creation, and developed strategic media plans to enhance the brand’s visibility and impact.

Currently, I am the Social Media Coordinator at Oh My Mahjong, a Dallas-based company. I leverage my expertise in fashion media and journalism to craft engaging content, drive social media strategy, and connect with our audience in meaningful ways. My passion for storytelling and keen eye for trends help me to create compelling narratives that resonate with our followers and elevate our brand.

I am enthusiastic about the intersection of media, fashion, and technology, and I am committed to bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to every project I undertake. My journalism experience includes live event reporting for online media, short-form service journalism and long-form persuasive features. I am driven by my love of the creativity that fashion and journalism offer and the bliss that stems from providing my audiences with authentic content. I also enjoy volunteering with Make-A-Wish, exploring new places and taking photos of the environment and fashion moments.
